Product Details

Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension Sachets are for oral use and will relieve pain and feverishness. It is suitable for children one to six years.

Directions

3 months to 1 year: 2.5ml to 5ml every 4 hours, up to 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 1 year to 6 years: 5ml to 10ml every 4 hours, up to 4 doses in 24 hours. Also licensed for post-vaccination fever in babies from 2 months of age, otherwise not to be used.

Ingredients

Active ingredient per 5ml is Paracetamol 120mg. Also contains: Maltitol Liquid, Glycerol, Polysorbate 80, Sorbitol Solution (E420), Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Dispersible Cellulose, Xanthan Gum and Purified Water. The flavouring is strawberry and the colouring is Caramoisine (E122).

Side Effects

Side effects with paracetamol are rare but should you experience skin rash or other side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist

Warnings

Do not exceed stated dose. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of overdose, even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed serious liver damage. Do not take with other products containing paracetamol. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
