Product Details

Calpol Infant Suspension Strawberry Flavoured oral suspension and will relieve pain (including teething pain in older infants and children) and feverishness. It is suitable for babies and children from 2 months to 6 years of age.

Directions

Age 2-3 months ( weighing at least 4kg and not a premature baby): a single 2.5ml spoonful may be given. A second 2.5ml spoonful may be given if necessary, after 4-6 hours. Age 3-12 months: half (2.5ml0 to one 5ml spoonful. 1-6 years: one to two 5ml spoonfuls.

Ingredients

Active ingredient per 5ml is Paracetamol 120mg. Also contains: Sucrose, Sorbitol (E420) Liquid, Glycerol, Polysorbate 80, Asulfame Potassium, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Dispersible Cellulose, Xanthan Gum and Purified Water. The flavouring is strawberry and the colouring is Carmoisine (E122). Each 5ml spoonful contains 2.2g Sucrose.

Warnings

Contains Paracetamol: do not give with any other paracetamol containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if your child seems well. Do not exceed the stated dose. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Wipe the neck of the bottle and do not overtighten on replacing the cap. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
